As festivities concluded, Chesapeake Region members gathered for a group photograph.

What an experience! The members of Chesapeake Region rallied to the call of our President, Paula Ruby, and put on a great 2018 AACA Eastern Spring Meet.

We had only one year to accomplish it all. In summer 2017 it looked like there may not be a 2018 Eastern Spring Meet. AACA's Don Barlup reported that distinct possibility to Paula, our Chesapeake Region President, and after considerable consultation with our members, Paula decided to step up, for our Region, to the challenge.

And a challenge it certainly was - first to find a suitable and available location within such a short time frame. Though not quite "spring", the large Gettysburg Wyndham hotel complex was available the second week of July 2018. Booked!

Thus began an intense year of preparations too numerous to detail here. What you experienced was the product of that intense preparation.

We hope you enjoyed it, and we hope you appreciate all the volunteer effort of your fellow AACA members of the Chesapeake Region that went into producing it.

Thanks for attending and happy motoring!
