2019  Excursion: Eastern Shore - Suicide Bridge Restaurant Luncheon

On Wednesday July 24th members of Chesapeake Region assembled at the Kent Island Cracker Barrel Restaurant, prior to departing for the Suicide Bridge Restaurant in Hurlock, Maryland for a luncheon and meeting with area AACA Region club members.

At the Suicide Bridge Restaurant, we joined with many of our fellow AACA members of the Eastern Shore and Bay Country Regions for a delicious lunch, followed by a discussion of several upcoming AACA Region events, and the opportunity for joint participation.

Suicide Bridge Restaurant has gradully expanded over the years to accommodate its ever-increasing popularity.

The bridge gets its ominous name from a storied history of fatal incidents.

After a delicious lunch, we had an open discussion of some of the club events planned, in which members of all the area AACA Regions were encouraged to participate.

Our Chesapeake Region members enjoyed the trek across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, to gather with fellow Maryland antique car collectors of the Eastern Shore and we look forward to participating with them in many of their planned, upcoming activities.
